Let Yah fight for you!

 

"This is what YHWH says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but Elohim's." 2 Chron. 20:15

 

When you come to Yah, know this:  You are called to accomplish a special mission for the glory of His holy name.  That’s the good news! The bad news is, you just inherited a host of enemies - the powers of hell - that will stop at nothing to take you down.  So, be prepared for the battle. And the greater the mission - the more glory Yah is due to gain from your work - the more intense the fight. The adversary is not only there to test you, but he’s going for the juggler - he will lie, steal and even kill if he can. 

 

“My child, if you aspire to serve YHWH, prepare yourself for an ordeal.  

Be sincere of heart, be steadfast, and do not be alarmed when disaster comes.

Cling to him and do not leave him, so that you may be honoured at the end of your days.

Whatever happens to you, accept it, and in the uncertainties of your humble state, be patient,

since gold is tested in the fire, and the chosen in the furnace of humiliation.”  Sirach 2:1-5

 

To be unaware that you are in a war in a first place or to not be familiar with the tactics of your enemy, is a type of underestimation that leaves you underprepared when the attack comes. 

 

“There’s no greater danger than underestimating your enemy.”  Lao Tzu

 

When you are aware of the evil intent of your enemies, you gird up for battle and prepare to win.  Daily, my friends, we must put on our whole armour, preparing for victory in YHWH and Yahoshua.  What is our armor, our shield, our protection? 

 

Let’s go to the words of the strongest soldiers for Yah in history to understand how we are see what Yah’s word tells us:

 

We don't have the ability to win the battle of our own flesh, but it is YHWH who fights for us.  Thus, our job is to cleave to Yahweh in times of trouble. Seek His face, ask for His strength and deliverance - and then wait, expecting that YHWH will fight for you and bring you through to victory.  Be assured that he will cause you to walk over every enemy.

 

  • "For YHWH your Elohim is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." Deut. 20:4

  • "What then shall we say to these things? If Elohim is for us, who can be against us?" Rom. 8:31

  • "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for YHWH your Elohim will be with you wherever you go." Josh. 1:9

  • "Through You we will push back our adversaries; Through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us." Ps. 44:5

  • "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Matt. 10:28

  • “Do not be afraid of them; YHWH your Elohim himself will fight for you.” Deut. 3:22

  • "Yet those who wait for YHWH Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary." Is. 40:31

  • "One of your men puts to flight a thousand, for YHWH your Elohim is He who fights for you, just as He promised you." Josh. 23:10

We must surround ourselves in the name or holy presence of YHWH, through prayer, praise, invocation, and believe by faith that His angels encamp around the righteous.  That victory is sure through Him.
